Lenovo IdeaPad U310 – A Cheap Ultrabook

Lenovo IdeaPad U310After all the new and expensive ultrabooks that we have reviewed made by Lenovo, the time has come to introduce an older, but cheaper one. It belongs to the IdeaPad series that is aimed at the low end of the market that is the most vast consumer part and in that part of the market it is the hardest thing to be unique. This ultrabook doesn’t shine with hardware, or with its design or manufacturing process, but it sticks out with its price.

The one that we are reviewing goes with the suffix (59336184) and it is the only one in this series that doesn’t have Ivy Bridge architecture.  Read more of this post

Rikomagic – Ruminants Of The Past

RikomagicThe year 2009 was very interesting for the hardware developers. The coming out of small, ultra-portable notebook computers, known by the name netbook, has opened a new chapter in the development of mobile computers. Even though they are slow for today’s standards, they are still usable for the task that they were made for. The Atom processors were behind time, even at the time they came out. That’s why the manufacturers gave up this approach and went into production of ultrabook computers, which kept their dimensions, but brought with them a bigger punch, with the much stronger hardware. Asus PadFone

Asus PadFone

Asus lately has been full of surprises. Starting from their innovative designs of tablets, which are in different ways combined with keyboards, up to the most recent PadFone.

So the latest combo is not something revolutionary,it’s not like they discovered the wheel, but it is quite a good innovation in a sense. The phone by itself has nothing special at this time; it comes with some regular options and works on Android. It has a Qualcomm Dual Core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM and option of 16/32/64 GB memory depending on the micro SD. It also has all the newest connection options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro USB and a 3.5mm audio jack. The last details are the SuperAMOLED screen that is 4.3 inch (960×540) and an 8MP camera.
