DocMeIn – Online Appointment Scheduling Service For Private Practices

Since, it is an online software, there is no need to install any software on client side. DocMeIn aims to help physicians to manage their time in most efficient way possible by providing a two-way communication medium between physicians and busy patients.

DocMeIn allows a physician/practitioner to maintain their profile with the information they want to show in public. When an appointment is made, patient receives an email message containing a machine readable attachment requesting to accept or cancel the appointment. Patient must confirm the appointment by clicking accept link in the email. Patients Calender management software can read and add the appointment to their calendar automatically without any additional inputs. To keep the patient aware about the appointment DocMeIn generate email remembers as time approaching.

DocMeIn‘s online interface of a practitioner also allows a client to edit or cancel the appointment by logging in to the patient area. A patient can also request a new appointment matching the physician’s calendar which is good to save time and effort for both parties.

Physician can view all the appointments in his/her practice calendar in a graphical interface. All appointments are color coded to easily understand the status. A physician can edit or re-schedule the appointment by mouse drag and drop activity and an email message will automatically generate to inform the patient about the changes.

Today, we all live a busy life with our work, family and society. Not all time we can maintain a doctor’s appointment due to several reasons and some time we just forget. As a result, doctor’s time are being wasted and they suffer because of our distractions and careless. DocMeIn is going to bridge the gap between the practitioners and patients.
