Lenovo IdeaPad U310 – A Cheap Ultrabook

Lenovo IdeaPad U310After all the new and expensive ultrabooks that we have reviewed made by Lenovo, the time has come to introduce an older, but cheaper one. It belongs to the IdeaPad series that is aimed at the low end of the market that is the most vast consumer part and in that part of the market it is the hardest thing to be unique. This ultrabook doesn’t shine with hardware, or with its design or manufacturing process, but it sticks out with its price.

The one that we are reviewing goes with the suffix (59336184) and it is the only one in this series that doesn’t have Ivy Bridge architecture.  Read more of this post

Lenovo ThinkPad Twist – Twist It, Turn It

After a longer period of silence, Lenovo has introduced a plethora of devices that has blown a lot of minds, which are going to be launched mostly on 26th of October, with the official launch of Windows 8. Lenovo Lynx – Atom Based Win8

Among those devices, they introduced an Atom based convertible hybrid, called Lenovo Lynx.  The Lynx is a Transformer type hybrid that copies its type of design, but with Lenovo’s own hinge design.

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11- Windows RT Packed Smaller Brother

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11Flip, turn, twist, bend, this is the newest hype introduced by Lenovo.

Lenovo had a grand opening last Tuesday introducing a bunch of devices that will work on Windows 8 and they called the whole family of devices a touch optimized family.

Firstly they have re-introduced the IdeaPad Yoga 13 that we have reviewed earlier this year. The Yoga comes with a new hinge that will allow its screen to rotate full 360 degrees and convert it from a laptop into a tablet. This tablet will be available from 26th of October for a price starting from £999. Read more of this post

Lenovo is trying to find its way in the new and changing times where tablets are overcoming the not so everlasting laptop, netbook computers. To do so they are introducing something that you can say that is a hybrid solution that combines the tablet and an ultrabook computer all in one.

Their IdeaPad Yoga is a concept based on their vision that an ultrabook can still be up to date with current technologies and still be competitive with all of the touch technologies and gadgets. So to fuse those two different types of gadgets they implemented their concept of hinges that enable the ultrabook to open up 360° degrees and they implemented a touch screen on the regular ultrabook.
