Google's Ice Cream Sandwich

Google cooked a lot of innovations for its fourth revision of their operating system, called Ice Cream Sandwich. Firstly, the mobile phones and tablets from now are united in one whole; this gives the programmers the opportunity to make applications for both platforms simultaneously. The hardware buttons are a thing of the past, because the new Android has three new software buttons in the strip, below the screen. Except for the standard “Home” and “Back” buttons, there is a third one that was borrowed  from HoneyComb and it shows the list of applications, which you used last. The old “Menu” now is transferred from the “Base” strip and now, its position is different in every application and some applications don’t have it at all. Continue reading →
