Palit GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB and 2GB VersionFor the test we have chosen 2 GPU’s by Palit that are identical to each other, with the only difference being the dedicated RAM memory provided. Palit’s GPU’s look a lot simpler than the Asus GPU. Firstly, the cooler has the same dimensions as the board, so its overall size is almost half than the DirectCU II. The plastic cover hides only one fan that belongs to the TurboFan Blade family, which has a bigger cooling capability than a regular fan and produces less noise. Underneath it has a simple aluminum body that has a lot of ribs. The lack of heatpipes, copper parts and any other advanced tech is more than obvious. Read more of this post

As expected from NVidia soon after they announced their new architecture Kepler and their new GTX 600 series, NVidia has presented their flagship graphic card, the model GTX 690. This card had its first grand introduction on the Shanghai LAN/NVidia convention. As all the other representatives from the 600 series, they have used the new smaller process of production of 28nm and the brand new architecture, Kepler.

The card GTX690 has two- GK104 GPU’s and according to NVidia the performances are equal to two GTX 680 graphic cards, connected in a SLI mod. Read more of this post

Except for good GPU’s, NVidia is master of creating a big hype, especially before their launch. AMD should learn something from them. With every new generation they raised a lot of dust, about how great their new product will be, upon which they would present a lot of test, reviews, and thoughts, about their new technology. Now they presented the newest Kepler architecture and with it again the same story.

Kepler or GK104 is NVidia’s GPU, made in 28nm technology. They didn’t want to experiment that much, so they kept the basic principles that they picked up from Fermi. Read more of this post
