Samsung Galaxy TabIf we look back in the Honeycomb era (in the time of the first real Android tablets) Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was at the top. A lot was expected from its successor, so lets see what it has to offer.

The overall look when comparing to its predecessor didn’t change much. Around the screen black is the dominant color, with an addition of some grey, which covers the back side. Left and right of the screen you can see small grills that are hiding the speakers and on which you should look out for not to cover. The new 10.1 inch Tab is a bit thicker and weighs more than the predecessor, but you wont mind because it is still one of the lightest Android tablets. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, the first Android tablet that made a big fuss, enough to be considered as a serious competition to Apple’s iPad, officially got its successor in the model called Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Typically for the Koreans, after seeing the success of the first Galaxy Tab, they made a defile of different models with different sizes and capabilities. In a combination with the open sourced operating system Android, they made an ideal combination of different options for all of those which think that Apple’s offer is not enough.

Even though the basis of the design is the same as the previous version, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is more a like to Galaxy Note, a hybrid of a phone and a tablet, because of the integrated earphones and microphone. Continue reading

Samsung lately has become a big player at the portable devices market with its gadgets. They are one of the biggest competitors against the “iPad” with their “Samsung Galaxy Tab” and their phones like the “Samsung Galaxy Note” are getting a big chunk of the market against the Mac iPhone. Now they are attacking another segment of Macintosh market, their portable media players with the new Samsung “Galaxy Player 70 Plus”, which they introduced recently.

The “Galaxy Player 70 Plus” is a media player with really good characteristics and it is an improved version from the last year’s model the “Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi 4.2”. It was launched in Korea on 5th March. Continue reading

The newest revision of the Asus tablet or netbook is called “Asus Transformer Prime”. It is a new version of the same concept that came out last year which was called “Asus Transformer”.
