The Daily Muse: The Female-empowering Platform

The Daily Muse

The Daily Muse

The Daily Muse is female-based site that provides women an online rendezvous where they could browse through relevant contents that would cultivate knowledge about women empowerment in the 21st century. It brings about rich contents, employment opportunities to young professional women in the same wavelengths.

The Daily Muse aimed for the immensely undervalued population in the society, namely the young and confident women. These smart women are provided with career advice and especially written, intuitive articles that are in existing between Glamour and The New York Times. They are especially offered with intelligent, reliable content, a flourishing network, and job opportunities particularly aimed for ambitious and highly educated women of our generation.

Initiated by three bright and inspired women, namely Kathryn Minshew, Alexandra Cavoulacos, and Melissa McCreery, The Daily Muse started with a huge success, kicking start the site with eight editors, and eleven columnists. The site, with surprising influence among others, has already advanced a community of influential women as volunteer contributing writers. It launched with high spirits, starting off with a “Lessons to my younger self” series, reconciling empowered women like The Huffington Post founder, Arianna Huffington, and Founder and CEO of If We Ran the World, Cindy Gallop. Women of the like give a piece of advice they would have given their younger selves now that they know better what life is going to bring.

The world is constantly changing, and the women’s advocacies are changing along with it. Hence, we have definitely left behind our antagonistic mentality about women in the past. But, in the modern situation, women and men are still distinct in the workplace. Thus, The Daily Muse wants to face these issues in the face so as to make women more equipped with the challenge and have more successful advances. That is why, here in The Daily Muse’s site, gender differences in the workplace are being talked about as to become more aware with the current situation. As people are still trying to make and give meaning to feminism, it should be realized that holding leadership positions should no longer be a zero sum game.

So, in this regard, The Daily Muse welcomes every woman to a newly flexible feminism, “a movement and a space that will define what it means to be a young, intelligent woman in the 21st century.” And most importantly, The Daily Muse welcomes you to take part to the movement.
