The phones’ design looks awesomely familiar, but with its own charm. It has a very slim bezel and the back of the uni-body is slightly curved, with curved edges on the sides. The back panel is made out of smooth high end plastic. Read more of this post

Sony Xperia TSony as a well-known company for delivering high end products was falling behind in the pace of introducing a top model smart phone, but they are trying to correct this with their new line of smartphones which kept the prefix Xperia. Nikon Coolpix S800c – Another Android Camera

Nikon Coolpix S800cRecently we have reviewed the Samsung Galaxy camera, a camera that is a combination of a phone and a camera, without the calling capabilities. Now, we are reviewing another one in this line of products, which has similar aspects and similar ambition, to be appealing to the regular social networking user, which is hocked on Android and constant social updates. These cameras want to make their way around the phone cameras that are more and more stepping in their turf and take the leading role.

Nikon’s Coolpix S800c is a step in that direction. It has all the needed aspects of a regular idiot-proof camera, but with an exception of its possible upgrade via implementation of additional Android apps, thus improving its usability. Read more of this post

Sony Xperia U

Sony Xperia UThe characteristics by which Xperia U differs from the rest of the Xperia models are the see through line that is just above its base, through which a specific colored light illuminates according to the content that showed on the screen, i.e. the dominant shade. If that is not cheerful enough for you, you can take of the plastic cover of the base and change it with another color cover. Last the battery cover can also be easily changed in a different color variant, with which the color combinations are exponentially expanded. Curios teenagers will probably flip out at this notion and the more conservative users can introduce a bit of color into their everyday life.  Read more of this post

Sent.ly: Global SMS Messaging

Sent.lyThe most challenging problem of most small- scale e- commerce operators is the lack of a reliable and accessible means of interacting with their customer base. More often than not, they choose to get SMS as their medium since there is a greater than 100% mobile penetration everywhere in the world. Existing solutions involve using SMS gateway providers. However, these usually come with set usage quotas and are specific to a country or region. Clearly, there is a need to re- work these solutions as operators expand to other countries and do not provide SMS local reply capability without  minimum usage quotas. Read more of this post

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 – A Wrong Turn

Samsung Galaxy TabIf we look back in the Honeycomb era (in the time of the first real Android tablets) Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was at the top. A lot was expected from its successor, so lets see what it has to offer.

The overall look when comparing to its predecessor didn’t change much. Around the screen black is the dominant color, with an addition of some grey, which covers the back side. Left and right of the screen you can see small grills that are hiding the speakers and on which you should look out for not to cover. The new 10.1 inch Tab is a bit thicker and weighs more than the predecessor, but you wont mind because it is still one of the lightest Android tablets.
