TeleHuman

The time has come to experience real 3D hologram chat like we were used to watch only in the movies and series.

Professor Roel Vertegaal guided the team in the Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, which developed a system for video- communication in 3D. They used very well known equipment, like group of six Microsoft Kinetic sensors that render the movements and set of 3D cameras that capture the user in real size and real-time on the one end of the communication channel. On the other side, instead of a monitor, there is a 3d projector that beams the video to a acrylic cylinder, which has a convex mirror inside. The result of this experiment is TeleHuman. 3Defy: Transform 2D Photos to 3D Models

3Defy

3Defy

Those days are long gone when you had to purchase some expensive software with the pure intent of creating 3D models.  At the moment, there are useful applications that generally work on the browser from the outset. These features let you reach 3D models that are fully- features even though you do not have actual technical skills. One concrete tool is 3Defy. Basically, it allows you to take pictures and apply 3D effects on them, appropriate for their respective browsers. Point- and- click interface is used on the photos.

From your 2 two dimensional images, the innovation of 3Defy allows you to create 3D models from them. Its galleries are filled with displays of shared 3D models from its growing 3D community. The development team of 3Defy which is composed of 3D aficionados and vehement group of designers and engineers has designed 3Defy with specific goals in their minds. To start with, they wanted to make useful online tools for the 3D community which is characterized with user- friendliness coupled with pleasure. Secondly, they wanted to raise the quality performance of 3D contents virtually available. Lastly, they wanted to advertise to their customers that there is some development of improved 3D viewing tools.

Aside from its heavy process of registration, 3Defy is basically very adaptable and spontaneous service on the web. It sheds the light on latest type of Flash Player, version 11. You can have a sneak- peek on the gist of the site if you give it a try and experience through demo. With that, you could see how fully- functional 3Defy is and how it can easily add 3D effects on your desired images. When the site launches its full version, you could also fully enjoy the advanced services that 3Defy has to offer.
