This Chinese company is not that well known outside its country, but they have introduced phablet (phone-tablet), that is nothing but revolutionary, in today’s sense of the word. Their product has stirred a lot of dust, because of the performances and its overall dimensions that are not matched so far.
The phablet is called Oppo Find 5 and it has a 5 inch screen that has a resolution, which even Apples products dream of. Its 5 inch screen works in full HD (1920×1024) 1080p resolution that measures 441ppi, which are more than 100 pixels per inch, when compared to Apples iPhone 5.
Except for the amazing screen, this phone can brag also with its dimensions, especially its thickness that measures amazing 6.9mm. But, the great specifications don’t end there, because under its thin hood beats a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that works on 1.5GHz, accompanied with 2GB RAM. There is an option of 16GB, or 32GB internal storage space and a price of $475 and $520 respectively. It also comes with a microSD slot for expansion.
It has a back 12MP camera, with a Sony backlit sensor that doesn’t bulge the device and can record 1080p video with 30fps.On the front side there is a 2MP camera, for the standard communication. From a connection aspect it has Wi-Fi a/b/g/n support, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0, but it lacks the new NFC standard.
It works with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that has been a bit modified for it. It holds also an impressive battery (2500mAh) that should give it a great lifetime expectancy of more than the standard day.
The phone works with GSM, WCDMA 3G and UMTS (with HSPA) networks, so it will be usable outside Asia. That is a great thing for everyone that will want it.
