In the last period we are witnesses of the Chinese invasion on every market. After the two phones from the Ascend family, it’s time for a tablet, which is being praised by everyone.  Its high remarks are due to the fact that it has strong hardware, great workmanship and its IPS display.

MediaPad S7 is wholly made in aluminum and is built in a unibody design, with a thickness of just 10.5mm. With a combination of black and silver, it’s not something new on the IT market but it has a great look and feel.

The other surprise is its hardware capabilities. The dual-core Snapdragon clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 220 GPU does every job perfectly without any lag and achieves great FPS in the newer games. The user has at its disposal 6GB out of 8GB, but for expansion he will have a microSD slot at his disposal. Huawei deserves congratulations for the 7 inch IPS display, with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, which doesn’t have any flaws.

The praising continues even with the wireless connections – except for the standard Wi-Fi, BT and GPS chips there is also a 3G GSM for uninterrupted surf wherever you are. The rear 5MP camera doesn’t have a flash, so the night pictures are unusable, but it can film a 720p video with 30 FPS that is quite good. As an addition it has a front facing 1.3MP camera that is good enough for Skype calls. Its battery has a capacity of 4100mAh and it can give the user 6h of continuous media usage.

The only thing that is not so good is that it comes with an older Android 3.2 Honeycomb, but this tablet can be easily upgraded to an ICS operating system.

It comes with a nifty price of $249 that make it quite good buy for the specs it offers.
