Practutor: Adaptive Learning Platform

PractutorPractutor  is an adaptive learning platform to help students excel in Math and English. Basically, Practutor is established to focus on the students. Since most students find it difficult to love these subjects, Practutor aims to solve this challenge and make students be more enthusiastic in learning Math and English.

Indeed, Practutor is virtually effortless and very intuitive for students to use. What it does is that it applies intelligent algorithms to figure out the student’s abilities in Math and English. Once this is understood, practice and training are provided to improve their skills. The training is mapped to each and every standard of the common core curriculum. What’s best is that it involves both the parents and the school teachers in the development of the student and provides all the elements required for the success of the student. Also, a private tutor can help the student every time they need help in certain topics.

Practutor employs a 5 step to any topic of mastery methodology:

  • Pre- Test: An online pre- test is taken based on the students grades to assess their skills in Math and English.
  • Custom Learning: In accordance to the results in the test taken, a learning plan for the student in line with the common core curriculum and state boards is devised.
  • Learn: The student watches informative videos to learn any topics.
  • Practice: Then, the student practice basic problems to fully understand the topic.
  • Tutor: Math and English tutors monitors the development of the students and intervene and teach them in topics they are having difficulty with.

Practutor’s team is composed of experts on Math and English from common core team, web designers, software developers, child psychologists, parents and school administrators. Practutor is currently in development and will soon be inviting beta testers.
