LG EA83 – A Professional’s Choice

LG EA83As we said in the former posts, IFA fair has brought a lot of innovations, by all the manufacturers and LG was trying their best to impress all the visitors with their big guns, but at the same time they introduced something for the professionals that aren’t looking for grandeur, but professional screens. Along came their newest marvel, which will provide everything that is needed by the pickiest of professionals, the LG EA83.

This monitor is designed for people who are working with color and need a perfect representation of it. It is made for photo-editors, video-editors, photographers, filmmakers and other professionals in this field of graphic, providing a realistic display of color and high resolution.

It is a 27 inch IPS panel that supports the new but recently highly implemented WQHD standard with a resolution of (2560×1440 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 16:9. This screen can display 99% of the RGB palette by Adobe, or when you go through its factory calibration. With the screen you also get calibrators and EA83 hardware. The screen has a max brightness of 350nits and a maximum response time of 5ms.

On the connection types provided, it has a lot to offer. It has a DVI-D, Display Port, HDMI as well as three USB 3.0 ports and audio out. The stand will allow the user to change the tilt, pan and height.  The display has also one of the biggest viewing angles, providing angles of 178 degrees in both axes. Also, one of the features that LG is introducing in their newest lineup is the dual link-up, which enables the monitor to use two sources at the same time, switching between them, or using them as a PIP (Picture in Picture).

The release date and price are still not known.
