Steelseries Kinzu v2 Pro – Repetition Of The Grade

Kinzu v2 ProThe Danish company Steelseries has come a long way from their modest beginnings, as a modder  for Microsoft mice and now it has become one of the top manufacturers for gaming peripherals bringing quality to the table and being supported by the gaming community and gaming clans from all over the world. This time we are reviewing one mouse that has been introduced two years before, but now it has been reincarnated and upgraded to today’s standards.

Kinzu v2 Pro represents the evolution of the model which brought Steelseries to the wide gaming public. Simplicity, shape and number of buttons, which means only the main three remained the same. The sensor is still optical, with a maximum resolution of 3200 tpi. The previous rough surface of the top side, now is replaced with a smooth plastic, which will not spoil the mouse quality, meaning, we have a subjective feeling that the mouse fits a bit easier in the palm. Differently from the previous version, which color can be described as a shade of gray the model v2 comes also in red and white color, so if your computer surrounding needs a theme coloring, you are in luck. The mouse itself is symmetrical, so the left handed and the right handed won’t have any problems. With one click in the software that comes with the mouse, it transfers from a right to a left handed mouse.

The software now is unified for every Steelseries gadget and you can download it from their official site. Now it is intuitive and has the opportunity to keep and sort out your devices, which is nothing new, but it is quite nice and elegantly done.

The mouse is really precise, it glides through almost every surface; it has high quality buttons and one of the best scroll wheels. When everything adds up, Kinzu v2 Pro is a great mouse and it gives even more than expected for a mouse that costs less than 50 €.
