Samsung after their total domination on the top of the line phone market are coming back on the low end market and they are introducing few phones, which will work on Android 4.0, but still are packing just enough hardware to keep up with their demanding operating system. Just a day after the launch of GT-B5330, they introduced a new little phone, which comes with a great look and an appealing name, the Galaxy Chat.

This phone is the first one which will carry Nature UX layer that was exclusive for the Galaxy S III. It is designed to be very chat friendly, provided that it packs a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as a Quick Office and even a dedicated key for chatting called ChatON that resembles the one on the Black Berry Curve 9320 and its BBM shortcut.

The Galaxy Chat has a 3 inch capacitive display with resolution of 480×320 pixels and a 4GB internal memory, as well as a micro SD slot, which is a great move for this market. The only bad thing is the 2 mega pixel camera that doesn’t have a flash and it is fairly bad. The other thing is that the keyboard is fairly small and will be difficult for people with big fingers.

This phone is one of the first low cost phones that has hit the market and are running on Android 4.0. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S III premiere, which was worldwide and hit all the markets at the same time, this phone will have a relatively quiet premiere, firstly launching in Spain and won’t be available worldwide until later on and it won’t find its place in North America, Russia and Africa because the company doesn’t seem to think that those are good markets for such a phone.
