Logitech k760 – Bluetooth Solar Keyboard

Logitech k760Assuming a lot of people nowadays are using wireless keyboards and mice, they are faced with the problem with battery life of these devices constantly. As an example, let’s take the Mac wireless keyboard that can hold up to few weeks, on a set of batteries. Another problem is carrying around a keyboard that can only work with one device. For these problems there is a solution. Presenting- Logitech K760 solar keyboard.

This keyboard works without batteries. The only battery that is needed is implemented inside and it can last a lifetime. In the specs they say that this keyboard can work seamlessly and charge itself even from an ambient lite source and it can run for three months, eight hours a week, on one full charge. As an addition, it can be used with three devices at the same time. So you can connect it to your iPad, iPhone, Mac or any other device, because it can work with Windows devices and Android devices as well. For your comfort they made the F1, F2 and F3 buttons dedicated for switching between the devices that you set the keyboard to work with, so it is easily switchable.

The keyboard is ideally made for Mac and iOS devices, but as said before it is compatible with anything you throw at it. Because of the main idea it looks a lot like the wireless keyboard from Apple, it is quite compact. It has a Chiclet key design and the keys have a good feel. The only thing that is separating it from Apple’s wireless keyboard is the large solar panel on top of the keyboard. Maybe it doesn’t look that nice but, you will forget about buying batteries.

The keyboard will be available across Europe and USA next month and at a fair price of $80.
