Lately there has been a lot of new stuff that we have written about that came out with the Google I/O conference on the 27^th of Jun. On it except for indoor products made by Google they introduced a lot of stuff that they have been working on with other companies and as we seen it was a good collaboration they made the Nexus 7 with Asus and other devices with collaboration with different companies. This gadget is also a collaborative effort between Google and a company that has been making speaker sets, speaker stands and other peripherals but so far they have done this only for Apple devices. So this means they are breaking new grounds.

The company Gear 4 has made a dock alarm clock/ speaker stand/ radio, which is fully compatible with the newest Android working phones and tablets. And this is not the only interesting thing. The most interesting part is that it transmits the audio through an USB port. So, no power consuming Bluetooth, or wireless connection and also no more audio connection cables. This will revolutionize the way that we transmit audio. This is supported by the two iterations of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and Android 4.1 (Jelly Beans) but with the provided software it will also be backward compatible with the earlier versions of Android. Without the provided software it will only work as a charger, but with it, it will synchronize with all of the alarms notifications and necessary data thus providing a great alarm sound.

Its wide background will provide a great support for the device, so it can be put even in a landscape position never minding its size. There are physical buttons for all the necessary functions as setting an alarm, or switching stations.

The Gear4 Android Dock will have a starting price of about $150 when it hits the shelves.
