Acer Timeline Ultra5 – Ahead Of The Competition

Acer Timeline Ultra5Acer maybe staying behind the main competitors with their production of high quality products, or being ahead with sales, but they are pushing forward and now they are trying to beat the competition. While the competitors are in frenzy with implementing ivy bridge architecture, Acer made a logical step forward and implemented high grade nVidia graphic cards with the new Kepler architecture, in a medium price notebook. Firstly, they offered these notebooks only on the Asian market, but now they are making their offer worldwide.

This series of notebook will come in two sizes, as a 14 inch and 15 inch, while the 14 incher comes in two versions. All of the offered notebooks will have 1366×768 pixel LED screens.  The first version has only an onboard Intel 3000 HD GPU that comes with the processor that is an i3-2377M processor. The second 14 inch version has the same Core i5-3317U processor paired with an nVidia GeForce GT 640M LE as the 15 inch offer, which will give a great bang for the buck. These notebooks will come with 4GB or 6GB DDR3 memory  respectfully and all of them will be armed with 500GB HDD that will be helped by 20GB SSD cache that will make them even faster at boot up and while loading different software. These versions are related to the offer for USA, but for an example in Canada this offer is going to be a lot different, offering a stronger GPU. The cheapest model will still have an ivy bridge processor and they will all have SSD disks, instead of a hybrid of hard drives.

This is mainly dictated by the price difference in Canada and USA. The USA netbooks will go by $680, $780 and $830 respectfully, while the Canadian prices are $800 CAN, $1000 CAN and 1300 CAN.

Nevertheless this is a great offer made by Acer that will bring a lot of buyers in their way.
