Now they saw an opportunity on the market of introducing a tablet of their own, not just implementing their software in other firms hardware. Everyone knows Microsoft surface, their multitouch table that was in a way a revolution by itself, providing a multitouch surface that run on Windows. This tablet took its name and upgraded that experience.
This tablets’ casing was made in a totally new production process that was made from vapor of Magnesium called VaporMG. This casing is really rigged and fingerprint and scratch free. It is a 10.6 inch tablet and the screen is a full HD clear type screen that provides great colors and good backlight. The tablet has a sleek look it is only 9.3mm thick and it comes with a back stance that is integrated in the casing. There is also a front cover that comes with it, which is 3mm thick and it is connected to the tablet via magnets. The interesting thing is that the cover on the inside has a multitouch keyboard with a touch pad, so no more accessories needed for your tablet.
The Surface tablet comes in two versions and they are quite different inside. One is called MS Surface and it has an ARM (Tegra 3+) chipset, weighs 676g, it can come with 32GB or 64GB internal memory. It has a USB 2.0 port, Micro HD Video port and it has 2 MIMO antennas that will provide great Wi-Fi coverage. This version comes with a Windows 8 RT version and an Office RT version, which means only the basic options are included in both of the software’s. The starting price will be $499.
The MS Surface PRO version has an Intel Ivy Bridge i5 processor, it weighs 903g, it is a bit thicker measuring 13.5mm and it will have a 64GB or a 128GB internal memory. It has the same MIMO antennas, a USB 3.0 port and a Mini DisplayPort. It also packs a full Windows 8 and a full Office.The starting price of this model is $999
