Sony Xperia acro S

Another fresh announcement comes from Sony. This time it’s the Xperia acro S, the new PlayStation certified smartphone. This model is packed really well, to meet the new criteria on the cruel market these days. Sony decided to arm the model with high- end specifications and to give it the rough protection touch.

An Android smartphone, it would be the first of the new Xperia models that will come with 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, without the need of OTA update. For many people, the characteristic of being dust, water and scratch resistant, while being stylish, can be actually decisive when buying a new phone.

Being 126.0 x 66.0 x 11.9 mm, Sony Xperia acro S has the 4.3 inches display, scratch resistant, with a resolution of full HD- 1280 x 720. It will run on a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor.
We always want to check the entertainment side of the new smartphone models. This time, acro S impressed really well. The TFT display is also powered by the Bravia engine, which guarantees extra sharpness of the images. There’s the xLOUD system and the stereo FM radio, screen capture possibility, 3.5 mm jack, 3D and motion games support. TV launcher is another nice extra.

As mentioned in the previous models by Sony, acro S comes with pre-installed Google and Sony applications, there’s social networks integration, even in the Timescape UI.

The 1 GB RAM and 11 out of 16 GB user- accessible internal memory will make sure that the smartphone will meet all of the customers’ requirements. Acro S impresses with the rear camera- 12 MP with autofocus and flash, gives this rugged model extra style and high-end class. There’s also a front camera of 1.3 MP, excellent addition to the video calls.

The model will be available in white, black and pink.
