Heider CF1 – It’s Not A Lightsaber It’s A Super Torch

If you are one of those people that love the nature and all of its delights, or you are a huntsman that loves hunting in the dark you surely need a torch. But an ordinary torch, or a gas lamp not always suffices the need of looking in the dark, giving you only few meters of light and to buy a night scope is quite expensive, so what is the next best thing?

The company Metem tech. has made a super torch that is the solution to this problem and it is quite cheap and comes in a small package great for traveling.

It has a built in LED light that can give out up to 260 lumen lighting power that is good enough to light up to 200m with a special attachment on the top of the torch, which will focus the beam. When compared to the regular torches that share the same size it delivers up to 100% greater power. The torch has also the option to zoom in or out, focusing the light, giving the user the possibility to focus it on a distant spot or to have a wide coverage on a short one. The torch body is made out of anodized aluminum that is water proof and the whole torch is 10cm in length, which makes it pocket portable.  It even has recharging batteries that have a capacity of 3000mAh that will hold out for a long usage and also it can pack a normal 3.7 AA battery.  The LED diode has an amazing active time-span of 100.000 hours. The overall weight of the torch is measly 65g.

This amazing torch is available to buy on the net, for an awesome price of just $39.9.

I agree that it is a very good torch. However beware the promise that it will be shipped free anywhere in the world. I recently bought this torch and had to pay almost the same again on delivery in shipping charges. The Turkish suppliers, Metem Tecknoloji, have promised to refund this but to date have not done so. I have opened a dispute process with Paypal. I will post again if I ever get my money back.

It’s an European plug. Just buy a cheap adapter. I don’t see the problem. You can’t expect them to produce a charger for every different plug type in the world.

Hi.. I’m in the same position. After paying £37 via paypal, UPS asked for another £15 at the door for import and admin charges! I have emailed Metem and am awaiting a reply. Will follow up with paypal shortly

Same here, UPS tried to deliver it yesterday and told me i had to £15.62 in fees. £4 odd on tax and rest is their fee. ive opened a paypal case to reclaim as they do not warn you or even tell you they are outside of the EU. Very Cunning!!

just purcased this torch and as david find you have to pay an extra £ 15 on top for ups to deliver.

After complaining to Metem Tecknoloji they said it was a mistake and they said they would refund the extra payment which, after a bit of nagging and chasing, they did in a Paypal credit. So for me, at least, they delivered on their promise. I suggest that you all ask for a refund as well – and threaten to take it to a Paypal dispute as I did.

I still think it is a good torch and better value than the competition (The Sunday Times in London just did a comparison of torches and none of them appeared to be better value or performers than the Heider.

I was asked for £24 by UPS and so I told them to take it away. Two days later it was delivered to a neighbour marked ‘no charge’. The receipt says 20 euros for the torch and 16 for the delivery?

I have just paid for this item and quite disappointed they refused to put the postal in the cost. I will also refuse it if they ask me for £15 and request a refund from the company. Thanks, Barry for that idea.

I had to pay ups £23.05 they said it was for customs

    • Lloyd March 22, 2013 at 2:42 pm

If you reject the delivery they will take it away, then re deliver it a day or so later with NO charge. You do not need to pay the fee. Also just to annoy you Bill, sorry, you can ind this torch online under a different name for £3. I was gutted to but bloody I didn’t pay a further £15+ for customs charges. Blinded by the light maybe!?!

I ordered this torch in early January, so over 3 months ago.
To date, I have had nothing but promises. They supposedly sent it and it was rejected and returned to Turkey.
This means either that they put the wrong address on the package, or they made the whole thing up.
I have sent them lots of emails, but for almost 2 months they have not even bothered to reply any more.
I believe these people are thieves, and the few good comments here were probably planted by them.
I would never buy anything from them again.
