Unlike other similar digital menu services, SecondMenu allows users to browse, bookmark and share menu items on any device while they are at a restaurant.

You can put your menu items online and share them via a unique URL that is compatible with smartphones and tablets. It has full Facebook integration and a QR code that customers can scan to view your second menu.

SecondMenu will be adding restaurants on the waitlist during the beta period. The founder of SecondMenu, Ben Roberts, thought of the idea to use mobile phones to share digital menus. Because many people already had the hardware, he thought it could be used to create a digital menu experience.

It allows customers to add the foods they have eaten to their Facebook timeline. They can bookmark them using My Meal feature of SecondMenu. You can personalize and filter menu choices based on your preferences. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian, you can filter items you can order, creating your personalized list of items you would want to have.
