HTC One X – The HTC Flagship And All Its Perks

HTC One X

HTC changed its policy of producing a lot of phones in different segments in one year and now they have made phones in different segments for different consumer audiences. Leading this change is their flagship phone One X, followed by its smaller brother One S then One XL and One V. Even though One X is supposed to be the top of the pop, the main deal, the bomb, the through is that in some things it lacks behind its smaller brother the One S.

The camera sensor is proclaimed by HTC to be the best on the market but, it lacks the quality and produces a lot of noise, even in day conditions. The Tegra 3 chipset lacks behind the newer Krait dual-core processor given in One S, followed by some lacks in design like- no dedicated camera key, micro SIM card slot that is only accessible by a pin and no memory slot.

The full specs are good enough though. It has a new screen that is a Super LCD second generation screen,it is a 4.7 inch 720×1980 pixel screen with a very high pixel density of 312ppi and it produces wonderful image with astonishing view angles and color saturation. The Tegra 3 chipset is a quad-core 1.5 GHz, with one additional low-power core and a GeForce 2 GPU that will blow your mind when playing games with its frame rate. The phone has 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage that will need to be enough because of the lack of additional microSD slot. It main selling point and a bit of a disappointment is the 8MP camera that sits on the back of the body of the screen on a little bump that makes it a great surface to be scratched. The camera doesn’t give out the best photos and videos, even though it has all the additional multi burst and shooting a picture while filming video add-ons like in One S. The battery is fused in the body and it is a 1800 mAh that will be enough for a full day of torture and a bit more.

Our thoughts are if you are a HTC lover, go for the cheaper and much better younger brother One S, it is much better than the bigger and more expensive One X.
