iNaturalist is a place where you can record what you see in nature, connect with other nature lover, and discover and learn more about the natural world.

If you are a hiker, a hunter, a beach crazy person, a lover of the mountains, you will simply love iNaturalist. Here is a place where you can share your experiences, thoughts and feelings about everything nature with other people who are interested in the same things.

iNaturalist has a greater purpose. According to them if enough people shared their experiences (and remember there can be scientists, biologists and entomologists here), it would provide a living record of life on earth that scientists and land managers could use to monitor changes in biodiversity. Apart from that, anybody can learn from the experiences of different people. That is the vision of iNaturalist.
