Lately all the phone companies are starting to push on the market additional gadgets that will keep your arms away from the phone while doing your everyday activities, especially if you are jogging or doing your chores and you are not able to take out your phone out of the bag, or pockets. One of these companies- Sony Ericsson has brought us the newest gadget-watch that will allow you to be in track of time as well as everything that is happening on your phone.

Their SmartWatch is a gadget that is a watch but not as a primary function. Except for showing the time it can do a lot more. For instance you can control the audio player that is streaming from your phone to the headphones, you can scroll through different widgets on the phone and use many other functions like answering the phone, texting and checking your messages, using the internet (they also have a special widget for Facebook and Twitter), reading the RSS feeds and also for checking the weather.

The SmartWatch works on an Android platform that is updatable and it features a multitouch OLED display. The watch itself uses a clip-on to go on the wristband and to make it easily portable, so you could put it on any other surface that you think is the most suitable for you. It connects to the phone via Bluetooth 3.0 and the battery life is between 1 week for low usage, 3-4 days for normal and 1 full day for heavy usage. It charges through a microUSB port and it takes 3-4 hours to be fully charged. The overall weight is 15.5 grams for the watch, that makes it really light and portable.

It is already in the stores with a price of $120. It is quite a time saver and a good deal for anyone that wants to play with new gadgets and be trendy.
