TipList

TipList is a service that helps you to quickly draw up a list of recommendation for your favorite cities. This service basically makes discovering beautiful cities much easier and simpler for you to share to your friends.

With TipList, you can share your recommendation about the places that you’ve visited and loved. You can also read the recommendations made by other people who have already visited the place you’re planning to go.

This service works with Foursquare which means you can import all you check- in so you may be able to comment on the sights you have seen, all the venues you have visited, and just about everything you have done while you were visiting a certain place. Every recommendation or tips you have given are categorized and ranked accordingly. The categories include “Sights”, “Eating”, “Drinking” and “Shopping”. And the tips are ranked in the following categories: “Miss”, “Do” and “Must Do”.

It is not a problem if you are not using Foursquare. You can just simply make your list of tips manually. You can pick all the spot singly and make a shout out whatever you feel like saying about them. At any rate, you can always choose a cover from your pictures from the place, and that you’ve uploaded to instragram.

When you’re done, you can subsequently share what you’ve build with all of your friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter. People can then see your tips when they come across your site. If they like what you’ve created, they can start following your tips from then on.

In short, TipList lets you create a beautiful city guide stating all your local recommendations in no time. So instead of going through the tedious and sometimes frustrating way to city recommendation, you can get started with TipList. Eventually, this service will evolve from beta and will play a major role in discovering places.
