Anthm: Create a Party Playlist with Guests

Anthm

A new music app was developed by a local team of Winnipeg entrepreneurs. This app is called Anthm and it lets you create soundtrack for a party through the world’s largest and best jukebox, which you friends can help choose and program using their smart phones. It is basically an app that gives people control over the music playlist in the places they go.

In other words, people can now have the power to control the music being played at any party they attend. The app is available for iOs which means that people with iDevice can pick songs they want to play and have always loved, or just simple feel like listening to a particular song. Other guests are able to vote these selections up and down. And of course, those that made it on the top are the ones that will be played. But, you guests don’t only have to deal with your songs, they can also have access on your Rdio account and request tracks from a library to your playlist.

The Anthm app is absolutely free but Rdio will cost you at $10 a month. But then again, Rdio is worth every single penny you paid considering you can find what seems like every song in existence in the program.

With Rdio integration, people can choose from 12 million or so songs. And to be safe, you can protect your party with a password avoiding anybody from meddling from the song choices made by your guests. Needless to say Anthm’s integration to Rdio’s library is an advantage since people can select from a wide- array of songs to request and play.

This musical democracy will give parties a whole new level of entertainment. You can satisfy your guests with the food and refreshments, but even more if its accompanied with good music.
