Samsung always finds a way to surprise us with its gadgets. They have introduced dual screen cameras with front screens not so recently and now they are taking things a bit further with their new Samsung DV300F. This camera makes taking photographs even more fun, with its vast functions and all of that for a price less than $200.

This camera incorporates a built in Wi-Fi, to allow you to upload your photos or videos directly from it, to all your favorite sharing social media, like Facebook, Flickr, Picasa and even YouTube. Also you can transfer your creations wirelessly to your home PC, or to a cloud storage providers like Microsoft SkyDrive.

The camera itself is not one to be toyed with because it holds some impressive hardware as well. It has a 16MP sensor with 5x optical zoom and a wide angle lens of 25mm. It can also film a HD 720p video with 30 frames per-second. Except for the basic picture taking modes, it has some additional features included. It seems like Samsung has anticipated every situation in picture taking and put a predefined option for everything and a way to fix it. It even has a “Children’s mode”, which uses the front LCD to distract children long enough for you to take their pictures. It does this by playing a short cartoon on the front screen. Genius, if you ask me. There is also a “Beauty Shot” mode that will automatically take a picture of any smiley face that is recognized as a smile.

The implementation of the Wi-Fi is a good convenience, one that narrows the gap between the point-and-shoot cameras like this one and the smartphones, which are becoming a preferable choice for good easy and quick photographs for the most of the population.
