If the 3D movies have a lot of fans, there are others which think that the movie and gamer industry of this kind of content is not needed at all. The main remark in most cases is that you need to wear special glasses, from which after a longer exposure the user feels dizziness, headache and pain in the eye sockets. The auto-stereoscopic display could solve some of these disadvantages.

Toshiba has launched a laptop called “Qosmio f750-10m”. Even though the most important thing in this kind of gadget is the screen,I as a reviewer am disappointed about the choice of a graphic card which Toshiba decided to implement. The choice was a middle range Ge-Force GT 540M with 3GB RAM, making it unusable for playing games in high resolutions. The processor is quite good it is an “Intel Core i7-2630QM “and it’s a real shame that the graphic card doesn’t keep in line with the processor.  That a side this is a very good laptop with really good quality display, that even in 2D mode pushes out high quality picture with 1920x1080p on a 15,6 inch screen, which is amazing.  When it is switched in 3D, it lowers the resolution to 1366x768p. The depth of the 3D is much less than in other types of 3D screens and you can notice certain blurs and picture doubling. This doesn’t happen so often and when it doesn’t the 3D experience is great, but this shows that auto-stereoscopic screens need to develop a lot more.

The laptop itself has everything that you would find in a regular laptop and a bit more. It has a 500GB hard drive, 8GB RAM, a Blu-Ray ROM, really good Harman Kardon speakers and even a TV tuner.

All in all great start for the new auto-stereoscopic displays and great try by Toshiba. But I think the next one should have better graphic-card.
