Stamped is an app that allows you to share recommendation with your friends. Essentially, it simplifies ratings. The traditional five- stars will now be replaced with stamping your approval.
Its process is quite simple: once you downloaded the app, you are initially given 100 stamps which you are allowed to use to recommend books, movies, restaurants, among other things. You can also get recommendations from your friends by allowing the app to synchronize your Twitter and Facebook accounts with your phone contacts.
The site features a perpetual updating list of stamps from all of your socials contacts. By giving new users 100 stamps each, it is maintaining its quality and a spam- free environment. However, you can earn more stamps when the quality of your recommendations is gradually increasing.
The CEO and Stamped Co- founder, Robert Stein accords that they want everything to be smooth and simple by only having users to recommend products or experiences that they truly endorse, rather than revealing those that are bad and mediocre.
And that is exactly the premise of Stamped.com. It gives every user the chance to be updated on the comments and recommendations of those like- minded people, and to post interests in what has taken their fancy for a really long time or just found out by luck, like a new salon or restaurant in the city. It takes everything to a quality electronic platform.
In this regard, a more personalized structure of interest will guide you in the best things to do. By just simply stamping on your device, you can show your family and friends new movies, department stores, restaurants, books, and so on. People who follow you will also stay updated and find out what you liked.
Stamped is currently available on iPhones. However, the Stamped team announced that the iPad and Android version are in the works at the moment.
