HouseTrip raises a whooping $17M for its holiday apartment booking service

HouseTrip, Europe’s largest holiday apartment booking website, has raised $17 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Balderton Capital.

The company raised $2.7 million from Index Ventures in April this year. They now re-launched their website with an increased appeal for its holiday apartments renting. The best thing for those looking to get a rented space when on a holiday is that they do not need to negotiate with the homeowner. HouseTrip does that for you, all the way.

The recent funding will be used to develop their service, generate more inventories and increase their locations.

HouseTrip works like this. You are on a vacation and want to experience life in a foreign place like a native or you want to relax in a home-like environment, not a hotel room. You can book a villa or an entire apartment for the price of a hotel room.

You can easily book a place like you book a hotel, online and with a credit card. HouseTrip is entirely secure; none of your information is viewed by anybody else except HouseTrip.

If you have a property and would like to rent it out, you can get in touch with HouseTrip. You can list your place for free on HouseTrip and receive your first booking requests soon. You decide the rent and availability, and accept or reject booking enquiries based on your judgment.

There are thousands of properties listed on HouseTrip. You can choose from a variety of living spaces in all top destinations like New York, London, Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam, Barcelona etc.

With the huge funding of $17 million, it would be exciting to see how HouseTrip expands and improves.

I seldom create remarks, however after browsing through
a ton of responses on this page HouseTrip raises a whooping $17M

I do have a few questions for you if it’s allright. Could it be just me or do some of the remarks come across like they are left by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are writing at additional places, I’d like to follow you.
