YCharts is a resource that gives you comprehensive information about the history, investments, growth of companies you might want to invest in. News is that YCharts has raised $3.25 million in Series B funding led by Morningstar, an investment research company.

Other investors were Hyde Park Angels, I2A and others. They have previously invested in YCharts. After the current funding, the total funding for YCharts has reached $4.75 million.

The funding will be used for building the team at YCharts, on infrastructure, marketing and on what it does best – financial research and analytics.

YCharts is an indispensible resource for those who are looking to invest in the market. Because YCharts provides detailed analytics and the background of a company, a person looking to invest can make an informed decision about whether to invest in a company or not by looking at its performance over decades, its level of growth, its potential and so on.

YCharts makes the information easy to understand and uses interactive graphs and images to explain. Nowhere will you see opinionated judgments about companies, which is a breather. They are very professional and give you exact data and only that. You can, by what information they provide you, decide on whether to invest in a particular company or not.

It provides you free stock analysis tools and charts that gives you an insight into the long-term benefits or weaknesses of your holdings by comparing dividend yields, total returns and around 75 other metrics that can be compared against other holdings.

YCharts is indeed a very useful tool for investors. It remains to be seen how they build their platform further with the recent funding.
